Communication
Communication with parents and carers is very important! We use Class Dojo messenger to communicate daily. You can also speak to a member of staff at the beginning or end of the day, or via phone.
Link classes
You child will also have a link class in their year group within school. They will join this class for selected subjects, to be discussed each term.
What you need:
Each day, your child will need to bring:
- A labelled water bottle
- PE kit – which consists of grey or black leggings or joggers and a T-shirt in their House Team colours.
- Reading books and reading records. A book bag will be provided.
Homework
In Base 15, we send home weekly spellings.
Children also take home a reading book each week. They will also have a reading record book, to make a note of the reading that they do at home.
We also encourage children to help around the home as much as possible. They learn so many valuable skills through cooking, shopping, gardening, cleaning and playing with you!
